After waiting for a week for Comcast to bother scheduling a technician, I went in search of another option. While my fiancee sat on hold with Comcast to cancel our appointment for over an hour, I called W-O-W and Alice answered almost immediately — and I’m pretty sure she moonlights as a superhero! She sent a technician out the NEXT DAY! My tech, Nick, called and was able to come earlier than scheduled (which meant we could get cable before the game!). He even stopped to talk to my downstairs neighbors to make sure that his truck wasn’t blocking them in.
Nick went through all my options, as a renter, and even laughed at my I-just-moved-and-I’m-frazzled jokes. He made sure everything was working and gave me a quick run through on how to use my all my new toys.
