Seeing that the tech couldn’t get out to us because of an extensive job he was doing, field supervisor David came out himself and fixed the problem. I couldn’t have gotten that with Comcast. I am forever grateful to Tony for being patient with me WOW is right!!!

He came to install an HD DVR. Before he even got to where my TV was, he requested to check out some other cables because my signal wasn’t as strong as he thought it should be. Turns out, a few cables were hooked up incorrectly years ago and the various techs in the past 4 years since I’ve owned the place never mentioned a thing. After that fix, he inquired about things I like/dislike about my service. I mentioned that I wasn’t a fan of the guide and then, after he installed the DVR, I made fun of its appearance in contrast to my decor. Next thing I know, he is on the phone getting me an upgraded DVR that 1) had a new guide with better functionality, and 2) matched my decor!! 24 hours later, he was back at my place to install it and wouldn’t you know it, the video card in the new box wasn’t working. It was getting later and I know he was probably supposed to be getting off of work and I was likely his last stop. Instead of rescheduling with me, he called up everyone he knew to find someone in the area that had another box (really, he called 3-4 different people). He finally found a guy, went and picked it up from him, and now I have a great new DVR that I have no complaints about. I stupidly forgot his name, but his tech ID is 7161. Many thanks to him for going those lots of extra miles!

While my fiancee sat on hold with Comcast to cancel our appointment for over an hour, I called W-O-W and Alice answered almost immediately — and I’m pretty sure she moonlights as a superhero! She sent a technician out the NEXT DAY! My tech, Nick, called and was able to come earlier than scheduled (which meant we could get cable before the game!). He even stopped to talk to my downstairs neighbors to make sure that his truck wasn’t blocking them in.
Nick went through all my options, as a renter, and even laughed at my I-just-moved-and-I’m-frazzled jokes. He made sure everything was working and gave me a quick run through on how to use my all my new toys.
